What is a virtual gender reveal?
A virtual gender reveal is a gender reveal your guests join online, from wherever they are, instead of travelling to one room. Most are either a video call where the parents cut a cake on camera, or a reveal page guests open on their own.
Diaper Reveal is a third kind: a live party game. Guests join from their phones by link or code, their faces appear live if they switch the camera on, and everyone plays together before the winner opens the sealed answer. Nobody watches a recording afterwards. The whole family is there when it happens.
How a virtual gender reveal works, in 3 steps
Create the party and seal the answer
Name the party and enter the gender yourself, or send a private secret keeper link to whoever knows (the midwife, a sibling, the person holding the envelope) so you can be surprised too. It stays sealed until the reveal.
Send one link
Share one link or a 6-letter code by WhatsApp, text or email. Guests open it in their phone's browser, type a name and pick pink or blue. No app, no account, no card.
Play live, then reveal together
A short race everyone plays at once, an optional quiz about the parents and messages for the baby. Then the winner opens the sealed answer while the whole family watches live, and you keep a keepsake film of the reactions.
Family in different countries and time zones
One link works everywhere
Grandparents abroad, a sister in another country, cousins across town: everyone opens the same link on their own phone and their own internet.
Set a time in every time zone
Add a party date when you create it. Guests see the start time in their own time zone on the join page, can save it to their calendar, and the lobby counts down.
Nothing starts without you
The party begins when the host presses start, so a relative who joins a few minutes late is still in the lobby, not left behind.
24 languages
Run the party in the language your family shares best, from 24 options.

Free vs paid virtual gender reveal sites
Paid reveal sites
Some reveal websites charge per event. For example, Reveal Together lists pricing from $7.99 one-time, and GenderReveal.live takes a one-time payment per event. Paid sites typically give you an event page with a countdown and extras such as guest votes, chat or mini-games.
Free reveal links
Free options exist too. Gendergram gives you a reveal link with a countdown and confetti, with no sign-up. BabyReveal.party offers a free online reveal with a secret-keeper link. These are quick to set up when you mainly want a link to send.
Where Diaper Reveal fits
Diaper Reveal is free and built as a live party rather than a page to open: guests' faces appear live in the game, everyone plays a race and an optional quiz, records a wish for the baby, and then sees the reveal together. A secret keeper can seal the answer, and you get a keepsake film.

Virtual gender reveal: your questions
What is a virtual gender reveal?
A gender reveal where guests join online from their own homes instead of gathering in one room. In Diaper Reveal it is a live party: everyone opens one link on their phone, plays a short game together, and finds out the baby's gender at the same moment.
Can I do a virtual gender reveal with family in different countries?
Yes, that is what it is built for. Family in different countries open the same link on their own phones and internet, and everyone sees the reveal at the same second. The party only starts when the host presses start, so you can pick a time that works across time zones.
Is it free?
Yes. Creating a party, inviting guests and playing are free, with no card required and no trial that expires.
Do guests need an app or account?
No. Guests tap the link (or type the 6-letter code) and the party opens in the browser already on their phone. They type a name and they are in. No download, no sign-up, no password.
Can the parents be surprised too?
Yes. Send the private secret keeper link to whoever knows the gender. They seal it, and only they know it. The parents play the game like everyone else and find out with the family.
Do we need Zoom or a separate video call?
No. The party runs in one place: guests who switch their camera on appear live inside the game, and cameras are optional for anyone who would rather just play. You can still keep a video call open alongside it if you like.
What do we keep afterwards?
A keepsake film of the party: the race, the messages for the baby and everyone's reaction to the reveal, made automatically and sent to the host.
What languages does it work in?
The party can run in 24 languages, which helps when grandparents and friends do not share one language.
