Can family guess the gender?
Every guest picks team pink (girl) or team blue (boy) when they join. Across 109 guesses, 54 were right: 50%. Hunches, bump shape and old wives' tales don't do better than chance. If your family wants to try anyway, the old wives' tales quiz and the Chinese gender predictor are fun, as long as nobody takes them seriously.

How we count
- Only parties where the baby's gender was revealed live and at least one guest joined besides the host.
- Our own test parties are left out. Nothing is rounded up or estimated; numbers are recounted every day.
- A guess is the team a guest picked when joining. The host country is where the host created the party.
- This is a small sample (59 parties) from one website, so treat it as a snapshot, not a scientific study. No names or personal details are published.
