What happens in the video
0:00Your family is far away
Grandparents, aunts and friends live in other cities or countries. Nobody needs to travel.
0:02Everyone joins with one link
The host creates a free reveal in about two minutes and shares one link or a 6-letter code. Guests open it in their phone browser and type a name. No app, no account.
0:06A live race
Everyone taps their phone to run down a 3D track while Mama looks away, and freezes when she turns around. A quiz about the parents-to-be adds more points.
0:09Girl or boy?
Each guest has already picked team pink or team blue. The baby's gender stays sealed on our server, hidden even from the host.
0:10The big reveal, live
The top scorer reveals it, and everyone sees it at the same second, with live faces on screen for guests who turn their camera on.
0:12Free, and you keep the film
A memory film of the race, messages to the baby and everyone's reactions is made automatically after the party.
Questions people ask
- Is Diaper Reveal really free?
- Yes. Hosting and playing are free, with no account, no sign-up and no card. The only paid thing is optional: a printed souvenir from the reveal film.
- Do guests need to download an app?
- No. Everything runs in the phone or computer browser. Guests tap the link, type a name and play.
- What languages does it work in?
- 24, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, Chinese and Japanese. The host picks the party's language and every guest's screen follows it.
- Do guests have to turn their camera on?
- No. The camera is optional. Guests who turn it on appear live during the reveal; everyone else still races, answers the quiz and votes.
- How long does a party take?
- About 20 minutes for a typical party. The race lasts a minute or two, then come the quiz, the messages to the baby and the reveal.
- Is the video above from a real party?
- No. It is an illustrated explainer we made ourselves. Real parties are private, and we never publish anyone's reveal.
